The Buyer delivers the procurement service for both internal and external customers, ensuring materials and services. The ideal candidate will deliver to meet quality, cost and lead times. To manage daily the procurement team and develop supplier relationships.

Essential Functions Performed by the Position:

  • Assists the Procurement Manager with the large spends and delivers against the backdrop of globally negotiated agreements
  • Onboarding & Vetting of Suppliers
  • Lead, negotiate and deliver the purchase of goods and services for the business in the most effective manner
  • Research new sources of supply for site goods materials and services
  • Liaise with planning to monitor plan and changes, to support production plan
  • Analyse and plan all material resource to meet customer requirements
  • Ensure that orders placed are delivered on time in full
  • Always act and behave in a way compliant with all Crane Authentication company guidelines and policies, especially those relating to Environmental Health and Safety, ethics and codes of conduct.

Essential Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Ideally A level standard
  • O level in accounts would be considered as an asset
  • Negotiating skills
  • Procurement experience preferred.
  • ECDL
