About the Job

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance & Procurement Assistant to join our dynamic team on a fixed-term basis, covering maternity leave from January to August 2026. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the operation of our finance department, with a strong focus on procurement processes and financial reconciliation. If you are passionate about numbers, thrive in a collaborative environment, and enjoy solving problems, this position is for you.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle procurement tasks including processing and matching payment orders and invoices, budget and VAT allocations, payment runs, and supplier statement reviews.
  • Communicate with suppliers, internal departments, and related entities.
  • Reconcile general ledgers, petty cash, and visa accounts.
  • Perform reconciliation of external bank accounts.
  • Participate in the maintenance, testing, and enhancement of procurement operation software.

Secondary Duties

  • Provide general administrative support related to the finance function.
  • Serve as a backup for other team members when needed.
  • Stay adjourned and adhere to the latest AML/CFT policies and procedures.

Qualifications and skills:

  • A' level standard of education or an AAT Diploma (previous experience in an accounts department is an asset).
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and diligence.
  • Excellent administrative and organisational abilities.
  • Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Demonstrates commitment, self-motivation, and enthusiasm.
  • Upholds ethical standards aligned with professional and company values.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
