Job Description

Our client, a leading organisation within the FMCG sector, is seeking to recruit an Administrative Support Officer to provide dedicated assistance to the General Manager. This role is key to ensuring the smooth and professional operation of the department by managing daily administrative functions, coordinating communications, and supporting effective decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate schedules, calendars, and appointments.
  • Handle correspondence, phone calls, emails, and incoming mail on behalf of management.
  • Order and manage office supplies to ensure smooth office operations.
  • Schedule and prepare meetings, including agendas, minutes, and follow-ups.
  • Organise travel arrangements, accommodation, and itineraries.
  • Support the planning and execution of brand events and conferences when required.
  • Maintain accurate records, databases, and contact lists while ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and documentation as required.
  • Process purchase requisitions and assist with ad hoc projects and departmental tasks.
  • Provide seasonal administrative support during peak business periods.
  • Welcome and assist visitors, ensuring a professional and positive experience.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of O-Level education or equivalent.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Flexible, reliable, and able to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Previous experience in an administrative or support role will be considered an asset.
