PTM Administration and Finance Executive

The Administration and Finance Executive will play a key role in supporting the company's financial operations and administrative processes within the waste management sector. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, managing office and operational administration, and ensuring compliance with environmental, financial, and regulatory requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Management
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records for all company transactions.
- Prepare and issue client invoices, including for waste collection, treatment, and transport services.
- Assist in monthly management accounts, cash flow monitoring, and budgeting exercises.
- Track operational costs and prepare internal cost analysis reports for management.
- Liaise with auditors, banks, and other external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with tax, VAT, and statutory reporting obligations.
Administrative Support
- Oversee day-to-day office administration and provide support to operational teams.
- Maintain documentation related to waste movements, permits, licenses, and environmental reports.
- Handle correspondence, filing systems, and digital documentation management.
- Assist management with ad-hoc projects, reporting, and operational documentation.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure all administrative and financial practices align with environmental and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records for waste transfer notes, permits, and consignment documentation.
- Support management in internal and external audits related to operations and finance.
- Ensure confidentiality and data protection across all business functions.
THE REQUIRMENTS
Education & Experience
- A qualification (example diploma) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline will be considered an asset.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an administrative or finance role, preferably in logistics, waste management, or industrial services.
- Strong working knowledge of accounting software (Sage) and MS Office Suite.

- Good understanding of operational workflows within the waste management or environmental sector.
