Operations Manager for Furniture Logistics

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the logistics, delivery, and installation of furniture for our clients. This role requires a strong focus on operational efficiency, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Operational Planning:
Develop and implement detailed plans for furniture delivery and installation.
Coordinate with sales teams to understand client requirements and timelines.
Create schedules and allocate resources to ensure timely and efficient delivery and installation. - Logistics Management:
Oversee the logistics process, including transportation and warehousing of furniture.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and transportation of furniture to prevent damage.
Collaborate with logistics partners and carriers to negotiate terms and optimize delivery routes. - Team Coordination:
Lead and manage a team of delivery and installation staff, providing guidance and support.
Monitor team performance and provide feedback to ensure high standards of service. - Client Relations:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding delivery and installation.
Address and resolve any client concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction throughout the delivery and installation process. - Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare and present regular reports on delivery and installation performance metrics.
Maintain accurate documentation of all operations, including delivery schedules, inventory records, and client communications.
Use software tools to track and manage delivery and installation processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with logistics and delivery management systems.
