Job Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our award-winning team at Xara Catering.

As a key member of our culinary team, you will assist the Executive Chef in delivering exceptional culinary experiences at high-end functions, weddings, and large-scale events.

  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency across all dishes
  • Assist in menu planning and execution for functions and large-scale events
  • Oversee kitchen operations and manage the culinary team when necessary
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health & safety regulations
  • Support in inventory control and supplier coordination
  • Train and motivate junior kitchen staff
Requirements

To be successful as a Sous Chef, you will require:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in high-volume or event catering
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Passion for food innovation and presentation
