Executive Hospitality Leader

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Chief Steward to lead our stewarding team in delivering exceptional service for high-profile events, weddings, and large-scale functions.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as Chief Steward or Steward Supervisor, preferably in catering or large event operations, with strong leadership and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of stewarding staff during events and daily operations
• Ensure all kitchen and service equipment is clean, well-maintained, and properly stored
• Oversee dishwashing, waste management, and sanitation practices
• Manage inventory and requisitions of cleaning materials, equipment, and banquet supplies
• Implement and monitor compliance with hygiene, safety, and HACCP standards
• Support the culinary and service teams in ensuring smooth event execution
• Train and motivate stewarding staff for efficiency and team consistency

Requirements:

• Proven experience as Chief Steward or Steward Supervisor, preferably in catering or large event operations
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and HACCP regulations
• Ability to manage a team and work effectively under pressure
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
