Your Responsibilities

As a Client Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our client portfolio is handled with precision and professionalism. You will:

  • Deliver high-quality accounting services and manage client communications effectively and promptly.
  • Supervise and coach junior accountants, reviewing deliverables and promoting continuous development.
  • Plan and manage your portfolios workload, prioritising tasks and meeting internal and external deadlines.
  • Liaise with auditors and prepare accountancy files for audit engagements.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts in line with relevant accounting standards.
  • Present financial reports and provide insights to clients.
  • Handle VAT Return and Recap Declaration submissions on behalf of clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and report updates to management, contributing to strong team performance and profitability.
What Were Looking For
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar client-facing accounting role in Malta.
  • Solid foundation in local VAT compliance.
  • Working knowledge of payroll processes is considered a strong asset.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Excellent organisational and time-management capabilities.

  • A proactive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
