Compliance Analyst Job Description

At Alpha Talent Solutions, we are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Analyst to join our team. As a Compliance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our organization's compliance with various legal frameworks, including Banking Rules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compliance Risk Management: Assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating compliance risks associated with our business operations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure our organization's adherence to Banking Rules and other relevant regulations.
  • Compliance Testing and Monitoring: Conduct regular compliance testing and monitoring to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Compliance Awareness: Promote a strong compliance culture within the organization and foster a culture of compliance awareness.
  • Support to Compliance Manager: Provide general assistance to the Compliance Manager, including on ad-hoc projects or tasks.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: A qualification in banking, finance, or law from a recognized European institution or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum two years of experience in a similar position within Banking or Financial Services.
  • Skills: Solid knowledge of Maltese and EU banking regulations, including Banking Rules. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage tasks under pressure. Excellent written and spoken English communication. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
