Our client, a respected organization in Malta, is currently seeking an Electrician to join their team.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general maintenance and repairs on starters, alternators, and light body (interior and exterior) electrical components.
  • Complete work orders and follow up on requests sent to the storehouse for necessary parts or materials.
  • Diagnose electrical issues on vehicle breakdowns and incidents, and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Conduct general service and repair duties on electrical systems efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure that all vehicles serviced or repaired meet safety, reliability, and government-standard requirements.
  • Complete job cards and other related documentation to ensure full traceability of all work performed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, ensuring proper use and management of tools and hazardous waste.
  • Comply with company policies, including those related to security, health and safety, data protection, eco-friendly practices, and quality assurance.
  • Follow instructions provided by the Team Supervisor to ensure smooth workflow and efficiency.
  • Carry out any other duties assigned or delegated by Management according to operational needs.


Requirements
  • A post-secondary level of education.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in electrical maintenance and repair of industrial vehicles with Euro 6 engines.
  • Hands-on experience working with diesel engines, trucks, and buses.
  • Intermediate proficiency in either English or Maltese (verbal and written).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with others.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Willingness and availability to work shifts on a roster basis between Monday and Sunday, including night shifts.
