Electro Mechanic

Our client, a respected organization in Malta, is currently seeking an Electro Mechanic to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair all components of vehicles, covering both electrical and mechanical systems.
  
• Assemble and install mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems and components.
  
• Perform diagnostics on vehicle mechanical and electrical breakdowns and incidents, as well as carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.
  
• Conduct general maintenance, servicing, and repair duties on mechanical and electrical systems efficiently and effectively.
  
• Ensure that all diagnostics and repairs performed meet safety and reliability standards and comply with government regulations.
  
• Train and assist Semi-Skilled workers as required.
  
• Collaborate closely with other Mechanics, Electricians, Panel Beaters, and other workshop staff to ensure efficient operations.
  
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace, ensuring proper management and disposal of hazardous waste.
  
• Adhere to established company policies and procedures, including those related to security, health and safety, data protection, eco-friendly practices, and quality assurance.
  
• Complete job cards, work orders, and any other job-related documentation to ensure full traceability of all work performed.
  
• Perform any other duties related to the position as required by business needs.
  

Requirements

• A post-secondary level of education.
  
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in electrical maintenance and repair of industrial vehicles with Euro 6 engines.
  
• Proven experience working on diesel engines, trucks, and buses.
  
• Intermediate proficiency in either English or Maltese (verbal and written).
  
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with others.
  
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  
• Solid problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  
• Willingness and availability to work shifts on a roster basis between Monday and Sunday, including night shifts.
