Our client, a respected organization in Malta, is currently seeking a Mechanic to join their team.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform mechanical repairs on the company's fleet of vehicles.
  • Depending on experience level, carry out diagnostics on vehicle breakdowns, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and coordinate with the Supervisor on duty.
  • Ensure proper use and care of diagnostic equipment, tools, and machinery.
  • Conduct diagnostics and repairs in a safe and reliable manner, in accordance with company safety standards.
  • Complete job cards and other related documentation to ensure full traceability of all work performed.
  • Assist management in maintaining a safe and clean workspace, including proper disposal and handling of waste materials.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those relating to security, health and safety, data protection, and quality assurance.
  • Follow instructions provided by the Team Supervisor to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Perform any other duties as allocated or delegated by Management based on operational needs.


Requirements
  • A post-secondary level of education.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in electrical maintenance and repair of industrial vehicles with Euro 6 engines.
  • Hands-on experience working with diesel engines, trucks, and buses.
  • Intermediate proficiency in either English or Maltese (verbal and written).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness and availability to work shifts on a roster basis between Monday and Sunday, including night shifts.
