Main Duties:

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair air conditioning systems in buses
  • Conduct routine maintenance and preventative checks on HVAC systems
  • Recharge AC systems with refrigerants and ensure proper pressure levels
  • Ensure that bus diagnostics and repairs meet safety, standards and regulations
  • Train and assist Semi-Skilled workers as required
  • Collaborate closely with other Mechanics, Panel Beaters, and staff members
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace and ensuring proper management of hazardous waste
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures - security, H&S, data protection, eco-friendly practices, and quality assurance
  • Complete job cards, work orders, or any other job-related documentation
  • Any other duties related to the job position that may be required

What Skills do you need?

  • Ordinary Level of education
  • City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in electrical field, or 3 years of previous experience
  • 3 years working experience in Air conditional maintenance of buses or trucks
  • Advanced knowledge of preventive maintenance
  • Specialized Technical knowledge on industrial vehicles
  • Good communication skills, in either English, Maltese, or Spanish
  • Proficient experience with diagnostic tools and equipment for electrical tasks
  • Strong Problem Analysis, Compliance and complex diagnostic skills

Eligibility to work in the EU is a must
