Job Description

Prominent is a leading manufacturer specialising in advanced chemical dosing and water treatment solutions. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accounting Executive to join our finance team.


Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Senior Accounting Executive will play a key role in managing accounting processes, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with statutory and corporate requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional to take ownership of key accounting functions within a dynamic and established organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head of Finance in processing accounting data and preparing financial reports, both routine and ad hoc.
  • Perform monthly closing entries and ensure accuracy before reporting deadlines.
  • Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, ensuring all assets are accurately accounted for.
  • Oversee the Purchase Ledger, ensuring timely and accurate batch payments to suppliers.
  • Prepare and submit VAT Returns, NSO reports, and other financial filings.
  • Support external auditors during statutory audits.
  • Carry out any other duties as may be required by the Finance Department.

The ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of A-Level standard in Accounting.
  • Solid accounting background with relevant experience in a reputable organisation.
  • Experience using SAP or other ERP systems preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
