Accounting and Logistics Coordinator

Job Description
Olympus Holding Ltd is a local boutique engineering firm that specialises in automotive, transportation and energy solutions, ranging from design to production of automotive components. They are currently seeking to recruit an Accounting and Logistics Coordinator to support the company's accounting and operations functions.
This role offers flexible hours and hybrid working conditions. Candidates seeking reduced hours or part-time work will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the documentation trail for the full order-to-cash process whilst also ensuring accurate and timely financial record-keeping.
- Carrying out cost summary reconciliations for engineering and production projects.
- Supporting accounts-related aspects of ERP implementation and upkeep.
- Verifying supplier orders, tooling purchases and cost inputs to ensure financial accuracy.
- Supporting the preparation of invoices, payments, and purchase orders.
- Reconciling accounts and maintaining proper documentation for financial audits and reporting.
- Managing the ordering and tracking of parts, equipment and materials.
- Coordinating shipping and delivery logistics, ensuring timeliness and proper documentation.
- Liaising with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Assisting in maintaining documentation aligned with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Collaborating with Parts Management, Operations and Quality teams to ensure alignment of financial data with project and production activities.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- A university degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Previous experience within a manufacturing, engineering or automotive environment will be considered an asset.
- Experience using accounting software programmes such a Sage or Xero are ideal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical skills with confidence in handling detailed reconciliations.
