The Regional Service Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing mechanical and electrical maintenance, callout services, and the execution and commissioning of new systems across designated sites within the assigned area. Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, the role ensures that service delivery meets company standards, safety regulations, and client expectations.

This position combines operational coordination with hands-on involvement, requiring a proactive approach to task execution, system commissioning, team support, and client communication. The Regional  Service Coordinator also plays a key role in maintaining stock, tools, and documentation to ensure seamless field operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to set clear objectives, monitor performance, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Planning, Coordination & Execution

  • Plan, schedule, and oversee maintenance and reactive callouts for mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Coordinate personnel, tools, and materials to ensure efficient resource utilisation.
  • Execute and commission new mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications, standards, and client requirements.
  • Monitor progress and ensure all work, including commissioning activities, is completed in line with company standards, timelines, and safety requirements.
  • Serve as the primary client contact for maintenance activities, callouts, system installations, and commissioning.
  • Communicate schedules, work progress, and updates with clients and internal stakeholders to maintain transparency and service excellence.

Team Support & Development

  • Assess team capabilities, identify training needs, and support skill development to build a competent and adaptable workforce.
  • Encourage a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high performance.
  • Monitor task efficiency and time management to ensure consistent delivery of objectives.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to promote professional growth and engagement

Documentation & Reporting

  • Review completed work, including new system installations, to ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records, including maintenance logs, service reports, commissioning reports, and technical documentation.
  • Conduct regular audits of documentation and system diagrams.
  • Promote proactive hazard identification, ensuring prompt reporting and risk mitigation.
  • Prepare and submit service reports, quotations, and project updates as required
