Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a Logistics Support Officer (Part-time) to join our client's Ship Supply team in Malta. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, this role is key in supporting procurement operations and ensuring smooth alignment with client needs. The position is part-time in the afternoons, starting from 13:00 onwards.

Responsibilities:

  • Process quotations, orders, and purchase requests through the companys system.

  • Send price requests to suppliers and follow up on pending quotations.

  • Track prices, prepare and forward quotations to clients.

  • Negotiate prices, delivery terms, and discounts with suppliers.

  • Respond promptly to client enquiries and support the procurement process.

Key Requirements:

  • Proficient computer skills with fluency in Maltese and English (spoken and written).

  • Previous experience in procurement, sourcing, or supplier relationship management.

  • Ability to organize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Team player with the ability to work independently when required.
