We are looking for a Crew Training Officer who will manage our travel, transport, and hotel requirements for our flight crew members. The goal is to keep our crew travel needs in line with Company policy and flight time limitations. The Crew Training Officer will be reporting directly to the Nominated Person for Crew Training (NPCT) and the Training Coordinator. 

Role

The chosen candidate will collaborate with our NPCT in the planning of training schedules and programmes by informing instructors and crew involved as necessary. The programmes would need to comply with the training policy and the operating standards as laid down in our Operations Manual Part D and as approved by the relevant authority.

What will you do:

  • General Administration of Air X Crew Training Section.
  • Creation and revision of training forms, manual contents including revision notices, manual status sheets, log of effective pages, table of contents, etc.
  • Prepares necessary paperwork for submission for regulatory approval as instructed by NPCT.
  • Maintaining all crew training, testing records and raising the required certificates when applicable.
  • Dealing with NPCT and TC appointments, phone queries and directing enquiries to the appropriate person/department.
  • Keeping abreast with current developments in the field of work processing and related computer software applications.
  • Coordinate with Crew Support/Rostering sections, for flight proceedings and hotel bookings for crew and instructors on simulator and ground training duties.
  • Inputting and updating of crew training records and filing of training progress reports, training forms and course completion certificates and updating data of all relevant training validity dates on FL3XX.
  • Keeping up to date all manuals and documentation belonging to the Training Officer.
  • Monitoring of eLearning platform and advising crew on their renewal due dates.
  • When necessary, assisting other clerical and secretarial staff to maximise work efficiency and enhance work distribution.
  • Updating FL3XX platform with latest crew qualifications and associated expiry dates.
  • Liaise with FLYCO platform any necessary changes with regards to courses. Monitor crews' digital courses and expiry dates.

Who are we looking for:

  • Ability to work as part of a team and maintain the required confidentiality.
  • Excellent knowledge of computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat and other job position related software applications.
  • Demonstrated expertise in technical writing as it relates to description processes, practices, and policies to ensure that written/electronic text content is communicated as intended.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
  • Demonstrated above average ability in written communications especially in the English language.
  • Be knowledgeable in Aviation related matters.
