Crew Travel Planner

We are a dynamically growing company in the Air Chartering business with a diverse fleet operating worldwide. AirX Charter is an international company offering exposure to various markets and jurisdictions from around the world.

We are looking for a Crew Travel Planner who will manage our travel, transport, and hotel requirements for our flight crew members. The goal is to keep our crew travel needs in line with Company policy and flight time limitations. The Crew Travel Planner will be reporting directly to the Crew Support Manager. 

Role

The chosen candidate will collaborate with our flight crew members by providing them with travel arrangements. The Crew Travel Planner will present travel solutions, providing essential information prior to proceeding to/from duty.

What will you do:

• Plan, book, arrange Hotels, ground transportation and flight tickets.
• Look for cost savings opportunities in line with our Travel policy.
• Maintain our Crew Rostering and data base update to date.
• Ensure all crew travel requests are booked in a timely manner.
• Responsible of request cancelation refunds.
• Assisting our Flight Crew members with any proceeding queries.
• Optimise the use of our dedicated booking platform.

Who are we looking for:

• Proven work experience as a Travel Agent would be considered an asset.
  
• Excellent knowledge of computer reservations systems, and e-travelling including Amadeus knowledge.
• Basic knowledge of the Aviation industry as a whole and will need to be able to understand the Company FTL Scheme and Crew Visa requirements/applications.
• Strong interpersonal skills and commercial awareness.
• Ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively.
• Sound knowledge of domestic and international travel trends.
• Aviation background will be considered an advantage.
  
• Able to work different work shift patterns (24/7 operation, including night shifts).
