Warehouse Operator

The Warehouse Operator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient management of warehouse operations. This role includes picking, packing, receiving, and shipping products, as well as maintaining inventory accuracy housekeeping, and adherence to safety regulations. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory and Documentation
- Accurately perform picking tasks and prepare orders for various jobs/projects, ensuring all items are correctly assembled, packed, and labelled.
- Handle returns by re-labelling, storing, and organising products per company procedures.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments; ensure items are labelled and stored as per internal standards.
- Safely manage stock with appropriate handling and repacking to maintain quality.
- Complete inventory-related documentation accurately and update stock movement logs.
- Regularly monitor inventory levels and promptly report discrepancies or shortages.
2. Customer Service
- Assist walk-in customers and suppliers in a professional and timely manner.
- Gather and relay client feedback to improve service quality and address any issues.
3. Equipment Operation
- Operate palletisers, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct routine equipment checks and report malfunctions or maintenance needs.
4. Housekeeping, Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hazard-free work environment.
- Ensure warehouse processes meet quality assurance standards, including proper handling and packaging.
- Adhere to internal policies and external regulations related to warehouse safety and compliance.

Required Qualifications & Experience
· 2 years proven experience in warehouse operations and inventory management.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Experience in using palletisers, fork lifters..
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
· Excellent communication in English and Maltese languages and customer service abilities.
· Proficient in use of computer and Microsoft Office applications and experience using a ERP system.
· In possession of a valid fork lift driver license
· Capable of using applications on a smart device (mobile phone or tablet)
· Proficiency in use of computer and Microsoft office applications will be considered an asset
