Hudson Group is an international retailer and distributor primarily involved in the sport and fashion wear sectors. The Group's head office is in Malta but is also present through offices in Italy, Cyprus, Morocco, Nigeria and Algeria. Though Hudson Holdings was founded in 2006, the Group's roots reach as far back as 1987 when the first pair of NIKE was sold in Malta.

Role purpose

The role holder will be responsible for helping to manage the flow of products and stock through the warehouse located in Maghtab.

The key duties and responsibilities of the role are as follows:

• Prepare all stock and relevant documentation for delivery, ensuring documentation has been completed correctly and returned to the warehouse for filing.
• Complete deliveries, in an accurate & timely manner keeping in mind routes and traffic peaks
• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in the delivery area.
• Checking and splitting of incoming goods.
• Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location transfers and filing the required documentation.
• Operate forklifts, lorries, and pallet jacks.
• Handle and operate necessary Software tools (particularly Excel and accessories)
• Integrate best practices in handling warehouse materials.
• Keep warehouse premises and motor vehicle clean and neat at all times.
• Demonstrate a friendly, smart approach with all clients and colleagues.
• To ensure a high quality/standard of work and service throughout.
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

Core competencies, knowledge, and experience

• Secondary level education/ School leaving certificate
• Good command of English
• Must have a valid forklift licence.
• A minimum of one year of working experience in a similar field.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
• Possesses good organisational and time management skills
• Must be able to lift heavy objects.
