Job Summary: The Financial Aid Processing Specialist is responsible for the processing of financial aid and assisting with processing of loan applications and scholarship awards. The Financial Aid Processing Specialist will also provide financial aid counseling to students and parents. Supervisorial Responsibilities: None but may provide direction to student workers.

Physical Demands
· Work is normally performed in a general office environment. · Work performed requires sensitivity and responsiveness to changing goals, priorities and needs. · This position requires light physical activity and movement; employee must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and use standard office equipment, including a computer; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in person, before groups, and over the telephone or during virtual meetings. Must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects up to 25 pounds with the use of proper equipment. Reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals on a case-by-case basis.

Required Qualifications
· Associate degree in business, accounting, or a related field · 1-3 years of experience in a position that is responsible for processing financial aid documents.

Preferred Qualifications
· Bilingual (Spanish/English) language preferred.
