About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil and Structural Engineering Project Coordinator to join our team at Level-Up. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to work on a variety of projects, utilizing their expertise in project coordination, technical drawing, and communication skills.

Job Description

The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing civil and structural engineering aspects of projects from inception to completion. Key responsibilities include:

  • Project Coordination: Oversee the development of schematic and detailed technical drawings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications and applicable codes.
  • Technical Support: Assist the Civil and Structural Engineering team in delivering optimal design solutions, collaborating with senior management and stakeholders to meet customer satisfaction and business goals.
  • Scheduling and Documentation: Prepare technical and drawing schedules, conduct building surveys, and manage the documentation of design work.
  • Client Representation: Represent the company in meetings with clients, professionals, and suppliers, ensuring quality assurance and addressing any necessary adjustments.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized professional qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Proven experience in drafting complex and/or large-scale projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable standards, legislation, and practices in the Construction industry.
  • Familiarity with hotel, commercial, and residential developments is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Autodesk, Revit, and related software. Knowledge of BIM is considered an asset.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, adapt as needed, and collaborate closely with others in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Attention to detail, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and confidently.
