Civil Engineering Design Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Design Specialist to join our team at Level-Up. As a key member of our Civil and Structural Engineering department, you will be responsible for delivering optimal design solutions that meet customer satisfaction and align with business goals.

• Design Creation: Produce and assist with the creation of schematic and detailed technical drawings, transitioning from concept designs to detailed sketches and drawings, including architectural, civil, and structural engineering design, design coordination, supervision of works, and measurement.
• Collaboration: Support the Civil and Structural Engineering team in delivering design solutions that meet customer requirements, collaborating with senior management and stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Scheduling: Prepare technical and drawing schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Fieldwork: Conduct building surveys and related fieldwork as assigned, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Documentation: Plan and manage the documentation of design work, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Client Representation: Represent the company in meetings with clients, professionals, and suppliers, providing expert advice and guidance on design solutions.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle, incorporating client feedback and promoting quality control, while addressing any necessary adjustments.
• Project Management: Manage and control all Civil and Structural Engineering aspects of the projects effectively, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.

• A recognized professional qualification in Civil Engineering.
• Professional experience with a proven track record in drafting complex and/or large-scale projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams from inception to completion.
• Strong knowledge of applicable standards, legislation, and practices in the Construction industry.
• Familiarity with hotel, commercial, and residential developments is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Autodesk, Revit, and related software. Knowledge of BIM is considered an asset.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, adapt as needed, and collaborate closely with others in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Attention to detail, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and confidently.

The estimated annual salary for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 depending on location and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
