Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Financial Auditor Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for:

• Pre-audit planning for engagements
• Reviewing clients' accounting procedures
• Obtaining an understanding of clients' businesses, internal controls, processes, and procedures
• Completing audit working papers by documenting audit tests and findings
• Conducting audit testing of internal control procedures and substantive testing
• Preparing financial statements and other deliverables
• Mentoring junior staff

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A degree-level accounting qualification
• 2-3 years of experience handling multiple engagements within a dynamic environment
• Fluency in Maltese and English
