Triskel Consulting, a leading consulting firm, is seeking an exceptional Technical Lead to oversee its international Back End Development team in Malta. This role can be based in our Malta office or remote with a B2B agreement, provided the time zone aligns within +/- 2 hours of CET.

The successful candidate will manage a team of approximately 6-8 skilled Developers, fostering a collaborative culture and driving high-quality product delivery to production on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to ensure the team possesses the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Directly supervise team members, taking ownership of their performance, job satisfaction, and career development.
  • Guarantee timely and high-quality project delivery, holding the team accountable for meeting commitments and expectations.
  • Cultivate a work environment that promotes ownership, collaboration, and shared passion for delivering top-notch products.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers to develop optimal technical designs and approaches.
  • Contribute significantly to the architecture and design of new and current systems.
  • Interact effectively with other teams and departments to share information relevant to team activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent field.
  • Background in Backend Engineering, with experience supervising and leading team members.
  • Experience in Backend development using PHP.
  • Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodologies and ability to guide and mentor the team.
  • Able to balance leadership responsibilities, development tasks, and Scrum rituals efficiently.
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and communication skills in English.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around €80,000 - €120,000 per annum, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications. Triskel Consulting offers a comprehensive benefits package, including opportunities for professional growth and development.
