Reservations Agent Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Italian-Speaking Reservations Agent to join our team at Cross Border Talents in Mosta, Malta.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills to provide outstanding service to our Italian-speaking guests. As an Italian-Speaking Reservations Agent, you will be responsible for managing reservations, ensuring all bookings are processed accurately, and providing personalized assistance to our guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms efficiently and professionally.
  • Assist guests in making, modifying, and canceling reservations accurately and promptly.
  • Ensure all reservations are processed accurately in our booking system.
  • Manage room inventory and maximize occupancy through effective yield management techniques.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to Italian-speaking guests, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly and professionally.

Requirements:

  • Italian C2 level language proficiency.
  • English C1 level minimum language proficiency.
  • Prior experience in reservations, customer service, or hospitality is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including reservation systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
