The Role
We're looking for a Store Manager to oversee one of our modern grocery delivery locations in Malta. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations, motivating your team, and maintaining top-tier customer satisfaction.
As Store Manager, you'll work closely with shift leads and store staff to create a high-energy, results-oriented workplace where both people and performance thrive.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of store associates and shift leads to deliver excellent results.
  • Oversee store operations including stock control, inventory accuracy, and freshness management.
  • Manage hiring, training, and performance reviews with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and data to optimize efficiency and profitability.
  • Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to streamline processes and enhance product availability.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Handle scheduling, incoming goods, and store logistics to ensure seamless operations.
  • Cultivate a fun, motivating team culture through engagement and team events.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in supermarket or retail management (LIDL or similar background preferred).
  • Strong numerical and KPI-driven mindset with a passion for results.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills.
  • A proactive, organized, and service-minded professional who can thrive under pressure.
  • Energetic and personable — someone who brings enthusiasm to the team.
  • Must be an EU citizen or non-EU citizen with a valid Maltese work permit.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Maltese is a plus.
  • Willing to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
