About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Business Analyst to collaborate with cross-functional departments including Operations, Finance, Sales and Compliance. The role requires a strategic mindset, operational rigor, and an analytical skill set to improve workflows, support regulatory alignment.. You will play a key role in requirements gathering, process analysis, stakeholder engagement, and data-informed decision-making reports to technical Teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders in Operations, Compliance Finance, Sales and Compliance to capture business needs, translate them into structured requirements (user stories, use cases, BRDs), and align them with product and tech goals.
- Solution Scoping: Participate in early-stage solutioning with Business and Engineering teams to ensure feasibility, define boundaries, and identify technical dependencies and constraints.
- Process Mapping: Analyze and document current-state and future-state processes using BPMN or other modeling methods to identify gaps, inefficiencies, or regulatory risks. Support the design and implementation of operational dashboards and reporting systems to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Technical Alignment: Work closely with developers, and QA to refine requirements into implementable specifications, ensure clarity, and support planning.
- System Integration & API Readiness: Coordinate with internal and external teams to document API requirements and data flows for integrations (e.g., KYC, payments, reporting, accounting tools).
- Regulatory Interpretation: Translate regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g.,GDPR, PSD2, DORA) into actionable system or process changes in collaboration with legal/compliance.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain detailed documentation of workflows, data flows, and system behavior for both business and technical stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance automation, or improve compliance controls through better system design.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4–6 years in Business Analysis or Process Management, in a regulated fintech, EMI, or payment institution environment.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Compliance, or related field.
