Full-Time Radiology Faculty

Kishwaukee College seeks full-time tenure track faculty member to teach radiology courses during the fall and spring semester and serve as Radiology Technology Program Director. This individual will also have some teaching and administrative responsibilities in the summer supported with a special assignment (and additional pay). Candidates must exhibit well-rounded teaching style that supports a diverse student body. Additionally, candidates must exhibit open and collaborative communication, an inclusive team approach to helping students succeed, and a dedication to the profession.
Physical Demands
· This position requires light physical activity and movement · Ability to stand and lecture for extended periods of time.
Required Qualifications
· Master's Degree in relevant field required with the equivalent of three years full-time clinical experience · Documents a minimum of two-year experience as an instructor in a JRCERT accredited program or similar experiences that would satisfy JRCERT requirements · Proficient in instructing, curriculum design, evaluation, program planning, program design, and academic advising · Maintain American Registry of Radiologic Technologist certification active registration in radiography and hold an unrestricted Illinois Medical Radiation Technologist license · Must communicate effectively in spoken and written English. · Demonstration of a commitment to community college goals and philosophy.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in computer and digital imaging. · Community college teaching experience.
