Job Summary: The Tutoring Manager provides direction and leadership to Tutoring Services and academic support programs and ensures the strategic implementation of quality services that align with college goals to support student success. This position manages student and faculty support operations, program evaluation and learning assessment, and communication of progress toward the strategic initiatives assigned to the unit. Supervisorial Responsibilities: Supervises full-time professional staff, part-time professional staff, student workers, and coordinates the work of faculty given release time.

Physical Demands
· Work is normally performed in a general office environment. · Work performed requires sensitivity and responsiveness to changing goals, priorities, and needs. · This position requires light physical activity and movement; employee must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and use standard office equipment, including a computer; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in person, before groups, and over the telephone or during virtual meetings. Must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects up to 25 pounds with the use of proper equipment. Required Qualifications
· Bachelor degree · Two-years supervisory experience · Experience in higher education · Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and assessment skills

Preferred Qualifications
· Master degree in education or related field · Teaching/training experience · Experience in providing learning assistance and using common educational software
