Powerhouse Audio-Visuals & Events is seeking highly motivated and talented ​Stage Hands to join our Audio-Visual department on a full-time basis.

Are you passionate about forming part of a team responsible for creating unforgettable events? Powerhouse Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and reliable Stagehand to join our dynamic team in Malta. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up equipment during events ,dismantling equipment, assisting with stage production, and ensuring the safety of performers, clients and team members. Candidates with previous experience in stage productions with a strong attention to detail will be given priority.

Responsibilities: ​ Loading and unloading of all equipment and items needed for the event. Setting up and dismantling stages, assembling scaffolding and lighting rigs, setting up curtains and other equipment. Driving of company Vans. Making sure that all safety regulations are followed during Setup to ensure that no accidents occur during the show. Installing and removing stage rigging systems, including lighting, sound, video equipment, special effects devices, and other equipment required for the event. Placing back in their designated area all equipment at the warehouse that was used during the event. ​
​ Skills: ​ Technical skills to handle and maintain the equipment used in a production. Effective communication skills, including active listening. Physically fit, Stagehands often work long hours and may be required to lift heavy objects. Having a strong physical stamina can help you complete your work duties more quickly and safely. Ability to focus under pressure and follow instructions. Attention to detail. ​ ​ Experience: ​ Previous experience related to the job role will be given priority.
​ Academic Certifications:  ​ Relevant certifications or qualifications in event industry, hospitality, or related fields will be advantageous. ​ ​ Other Requirements: ​ Driving license B is mandatory.
