We are seeking to recruit a highly enthusiastic and talented individual, who thrives working within a dynamic team, to join our Quality Department in the role of Quality Engineer.

Reporting into the Quality Manager, the Quality Engineer is responsible to drive a preventive action mentality and to assist with standardizing actions arising from quality issues and from the product development process.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Drive quality from design, development and manufacturing process, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring that customer requirements are ingrained in all processes.
  • Be up-to-date with all customer protocols and requirements.
  • Assist manufacturing in building quality through effective use of quality tools.
  • Conduct regular reviews of quality indices with a view to bring together all stakeholders in order to drive a continuous improvement mentality.
  • Conduct regular quality audits (system and line) to identify non-conformities and work with internal stakeholders to find solutions.
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analysing and summarising date to make recommendations.
  • Review sample submission parts for any kind of approvals.
  • Determines quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes.
  • Interface with all internal stakeholders, ensuring that customer issues are addressed in an effective and timely manner and that the permanent resolution is standardised.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Possess an education at MQF level 6 or higher in Engineering.
  • Sound knowledge of quality principles, practices and procedures
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in Injection Moulding will be considered an asset
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills to deal with both local and foreign suppliers and customers
