• We are looking for a Financial Reporting Specialist to join our Malta team and support the end-to-end financial reporting process for our Maltese entity. In this role, you will perform analytical review, ensure accurate and timely reporting aligned with IFRS, and collaborate closely with Group Accounting, FP&A, Operations, and Finance Transformation.
• You will play a key role in supporting regulatory reporting, driving automation initiatives, and strengthening our internal control environment. This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented, analytical, and motivated to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Financial Reporting & Analysis
• Prepare detailed monthly analytical reviews, identifying key variances and providing insights to management.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and presentations, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Review and validate financial information received from Accounting, Operations, and FP&A.
• Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and monthly/quarterly reporting packages.

• Regulatory Reporting
• Assist in quarterly regulatory reporting to the MFSA and the Central Bank of Malta (CBM).
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support the maintenance of proper documentation for audits and inspections.

• IFRS & Technical Accounting
• Collaborate with the Group Accounting team to ensure reporting is accurate, complete, and aligned with IFRS standards.
• Support the preparation of Financial Statements and other technical accounting deliverables.

• Process Improvement & Automation
• Partner with the Group Finance Transformation team to drive automation and process enhancements for Malta reporting.
• Strengthen internal controls and develop clear documentation around business processes across Finance.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with Group Accounting, FP&A, Operations, and Finance Transformation teams to ensure high-quality reporting and a smooth flow of information.
• Provide ad-hoc analytical support as needed.

• ACCA qualification or equivalent accounting certification.
• 2+ years of post-qualification experience in finance or accounting.
• Strong understanding of IFRS accounting standards and financial reporting principles.
• Experience with SAP is a strong asset.
• Experience working in a regulated entity is an advantage (e.g., financial services, payments, banking).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work cross-functionally, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English.
