On Behalf of our client, Manpower Malta is seeking a seasoned Senior Operations Manager to lead and enhance its operational capabilities. This strategic role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, manage cross-functional teams, and drive operational excellence across departments.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Strategy & Process Optimization

  • Design, implement, and refine operational workflows and quality controls aligned with business goals
  • Maintain and update SOPs, ensuring accessibility and version control
  • Monitor KPIs and prepare performance reports with actionable insights
  • Leverage practice management systems to streamline service delivery

Project & Change Management

  • Lead cross-departmental projects from planning to execution
  • Coordinate resources and stakeholders to meet scope, timeline, and budget targets
  • Apply structured project management methodologies and maintain governance documentation

Compliance & Risk Oversight

  • Ensure adherence to Maltese and EU regulations, including AML/CFT and GDPR
  • Collaborate with compliance officers and maintain required registers
  • Support audits and implement corrective actions

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of operations staff
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and client service
  • Act as liaison between internal departments and external vendors

Client, Facilities & IT Coordination

  • Manage client contracts and service level agreements
  • Oversee office facilities, leases, and health & safety compliance
  • Partner with IT to ensure reliable and secure operational systems

Financial & Administrative Support

  • Contribute to budget planning and cost control
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting to senior management

Client Experience & Quality Assurance

  • Standardize client onboarding and documentation practices
  • Resolve escalated service issues and promote continuous improvement
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Management, Law, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years experience in operations or project management within professional services or regulated industries
  • Proven success in process improvement, team leadership, and cross-functional project delivery
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (AML/CFT, GDPR)
  • Proficiency in practice management systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft 365
