Job Description

Our client, a long-established English Language school, is currently seeking to recruit a Finance Manager.  

The selected candidate will be:

  • Taking full responsibility for the supervision of the daily Book-Keeping & Accounting;
  • Ensuring that books of accounts are maintained up to the highest standards;
  • Producing monthly management accounts;
  • Compiling budgets and cash flow forecasts;
  • Overseeing the Credit Management & Control functions/procedures; and,
  • Monitoring all payments to suppliers and the relevant processing of invoices for goods purchased and pass on to the CEO for authorisation.

The ideal candidate will hold an ACCA qualification or UOM Accountancy degree whilst also have a minimum of two years' experience in a similar position. This position calls for someone who is dynamic and self-motivated and also has good communication and interpersonal skills. S/he must also be organised, able to work on own initiative and have a can do attitude.
