Job Description: The VAT and Accounting Senior will be responsible for ensuring both internal and clients compliance with Value Added Tax (VAT) regulations, while maintaining clients financial records in accordance with accounting standards. Role and Responsibilities: Review work carried out by team members and clients, and submit periodic VAT returns accurately and on time.Monitor changes in VAT laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.Provide advice and support to management on the VAT implications of business transactions.Liaise with clients and tax authorities to respond to VAT-related queries.Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with accounting standards.Review accounting work carried out by junior team members.Liaise with clients and address their accounting queries. Requirements: Applicants must be a qualified accountant or in the final stages of obtaining a formal accounting qualification, such as ACCA or equivalent.Around 2 years experience in a similar role will be considered an asset.Must be capable of working on their own initiative, possess good interpersonal skills, and be an efficient team player.
