Industry: PharmaceuticalLocation: MaltaBasis: Full timeRemuneration: Salary + bonus + benefits Main Duties: Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).Work closely with the finance team to support the month-end and year-end closing processes.Assist with the annual audit process, including the preparation of IFRS financial statements and related notes.Review and recommend improvements to accounting systems and procedures.Supervise and support junior accountants within the team.Research and analyse expense variances and provide insights to management.Prepare VAT returns and ensure all related VAT compliance submissions are completed accurately and on time. What skills do you need: Proven experience as a Senior Accountant.Previous experience within a Big 4 firm and/or international group structures will be considered an asset.Strong knowledge of accounting procedures and in-depth understanding of IFRS.Hands-on experience with accounting software (such as SAP or Navision).Advanced MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables. Eligibility to work in the EU is a must
