Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Quad Consultancy in Malta. As an integral part of our operations, this role is responsible for managing financial tasks and processes with attention to detail and accuracy.

About the Role:

  • The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of basic accounting principles, terminology, and processes, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office, preferably with experience in Navision.
  • They will also have excellent communication skills in English and be able to work effectively within a team to meet deadlines.
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work autonomously while being receptive to guidance from senior staff members are essential for success in this role.
  • Additionally, the successful candidate should have a commitment to ongoing professional development and expanding their expertise in the accounting field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct general bookkeeping tasks such as invoice posting, reconciliations, invoicing, and other duties up to trial balance.
  • Timely processing of payments and assisting in the preparation of VAT returns.
  • Coordinate with auditors and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Handle document filing responsibilities and undertake any additional duties required.
