About the Role

We are inviting applications from professionals with a strong academic or professional background in taxation, whether qualified in law or accountancy, who are eager to grow within a dynamic and multidisciplinary Tax Practice. 

This opportunity is open to professionals at various stages of their career. Depending on your background and interests, you may be considered for a position within either the Corporate or Personal Tax teams. 

The successful candidate will support senior team members in advising and assisting clients on a wide range of tax-related matters, contribute to internal knowledge development, and engage with international networks. 

General Responsibilities

Depending on the candidate's profile, responsibilities may include: 

  • Drafting advice memos, reports, and client correspondence.
  • Liaising with local tax authorities and regulatory bodies.
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating client interactions in line with company procedures.
  • Supporting the preparation of reports, presentations, and strategic projects. 
  • Contributing to internal and external publications and thought leadership. 
  • Coordinating communication across internal teams and the wider Andersen international network. 
  • Handling client onboarding and ensuring service quality and responsiveness. 
  • Advising clients on tax-efficient solutions tailored to their corporate or personal circumstances. 

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

  • Degree in Law, Accountancy, or a related field.
  • Experience dealing with international clients.
  • Exposure to VAT and international tax matters is considered an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Qualifications in taxation (e.g. MIT Course on Taxation) are considered an asset. 
  • Organisational and leadership capabilities. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Excellent written and spoken English. 
  • Relevant experience in a tax advisory role (corporate or personal).
