ENTER THE GAME
As an Events & HR Specialist, you will be part of the Human Resources team and report directly to the HR Director. In this role, you will coordinate and deliver employee-focused events and initiatives that foster engagement, culture, and well-being across the company. This role combines supporting HR processes and the planning and execution of internal events and initiatives, while also contributing to external employer branding activities.
The Events & HR Specialist will be responsible for planning and executing both internal and external events, assisting with HR processes, and ensuring a positive employee experience.
YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC
In this role, your main missions will be:
Events & Engagement
• Plan, organise, and execute internal employee engagement events, celebrations, and cultural initiatives (e.g., team-building activities, annual parties, wellness events, milestone celebrations).
• Organise CSR initiatives for the Malta & ROW offices, including Climate Frescoes workshops and similar initiatives as required from time to time
• Collaborate with HR and the Events leadership team to design events that promote company culture, employee recognition, and team cohesion.
• Research and liaise with vendors, venues, and suppliers to deliver high-quality and cost-effective events.
• Manage event logistics, communications, invitations, registrations, and feedback collection.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies during all events.
• Monitor event budgets and prepare post-event reports and evaluations.
HR Support
• Assist the HR team with day-to-day operations such as onboarding, employee communications, and HR documentation.
• Support employee well-being initiatives and engagement surveys.
• Contribute to HR projects that promote diversity, inclusion, and a positive workplace culture.
• Maintain accurate employee-related records and contribute to reporting when needed.
• Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR and event-related queries.
• Support internal communications related to HR policies, culture, and engagement activities.
Employer Branding
• Collaborate with HR and Communications to design and implement employer branding initiatives.
• Create engaging content for internal and external channels (e.g., LinkedIn, career site, intranet) showcasing company culture, events, and employee experiences.
• Support recruitment campaigns and employer brand projects that highlight the company as an employer of choice.
• Ensure consistency of messaging and branding across all HR and employee-facing initiatives.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

This job is for you if you have:
• 2-3 years' experience in events management
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with high attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage employees at all levels.
• Creative thinker with a passion for employee experience and company culture
• Familiarity with social media, job boards and professional networks.
• Fluent in English. Fluency or knowledge of a second language would be a plus.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
• Flexibility to occasionally support events outside of office hours.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM THIS RECRUITMENT?
