Junior Legal Counsel

We are looking for a Junior Legal Counsel to join a leading iGaming company headquartered in Malta. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional early in their career to develop hands-on experience in a fast-paced, international environment within one of the most dynamic sectors in tech.

As a Junior Legal Counsel, you'll support a broad range of legal and regulatory matters across multiple jurisdictions. You will work closely with the legal team and internal stakeholders, assisting with commercial contracts, corporate documentation, research, and compliance topics relevant to the iGaming industry.

Location: Hybrid in Malta

As a Junior Legal Counsel, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Legal & Compliance Support:

• Assist in legal analysis and research across a variety of areas including commercial, corporate, data protection, employment law, and gaming regulations

• Support the drafting and updating of terms and conditions, internal policies, and procedures

• Help monitor regulatory developments in relevant jurisdictions

Contracts & Documentation:

• Draft and review agreements related to commercial activities such as marketing, payment services, data protection, and intra-group operations

• Prepare standard legal documents including NDAs, POAs, board resolutions, and correspondence

• Assist with documentation for basic corporate changes and administrative filings

Research & Due Diligence:

• Conduct legal research on relevant laws and sector-specific regulations

• Support the legal team during due diligence processes and cross-functional projects

Collaboration & Business Support:

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders across departments to ensure legal requirements are understood and followed

• Contribute to maintaining a compliant and transparent legal environment

• Take on additional responsibilities as required by the business

• 1–2 years of legal experience, ideally with exposure to commercial or regulatory matters within the iGaming, technology, or digital entertainment sectors

• Solid academic background in law and familiarity with corporate and commercial legal frameworks

• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate work under tight deadlines

• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a high-paced environment

• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills

• Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a plus
