Recruitment Consultant

JobMatchingPartner turns 6 this October and to celebrate, we are looking for the next member of our growing team
Currently a team of four, we focus on attitude, aptitude, and ability when selecting our next colleague. 

The role of Recruitment Consultant is varied and requires the right person to switch seamlessly between sales, empathetic listening, administrative tasks, profitability calculations, client meetings, writing summaries for colleagues, social media advertising, and creating unique content.

Reporting to our Head of Search and Selection, you will be trained in the full 360 recruitment cycle and fully supported for professional advancement.
Your main focus will be on Corporate Roles incl Finance/Accounting and legal 

Starting salary €23-26K + commission

Role & Responsibilities

• Assisting the Head of Search and Selection
• Creating unique job ads
• Screening CVs and determining applicants' suitability
• Conducting discovery calls with candidates
• Keeping informed about candidates' status with clients
• Sharing information with your co-workers through detailed notes in the CMS
• Negotiating salaries and offers as needed 
• CMS administration
• Business development and maintaining relationships with clients
• Keeping abreast of trends relevant to your clients and jobseekers

Education, Skills & Experience

• A-levels or higher in Finance, Accounting, Law, Organizational Psychology, or HR
• 3+ years work experience in an office environment
• Highly computer, internet and social networking literate
• Articulate, with excellent communication skills in English
• Fluent in Maltese
• Driven to learn, develop, and succeed
• Team player
• Result-oriented
• Outgoing with strong social & communication skills
• Previous recruitment experience is an advantage
• Motivated "closer," driven by deals and commission
• Exceptional professional integrity
• Organised multitasker with a keen eye for detail
• Comfortable working in a mainly office-based role
• Willingness to network and attend industry events

About this role

• Starting salary €23-26K Pro rata depending on experience
• Commission from start
• Initially office-based in l-Imriehel, eventually hybrid flexibility (1 day per week)
• On-the-job training
• External courses supported by the company

• Shortlisting for first interviews is scheduled for 31st October 2025. 
• First interviews will be held the first week of November
