IT Systems Admin

Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit an IT Systems Administrator to join our client's team.

This role is ideal for a proactive and skilled professional with experience in IT systems administration, infrastructure, or application support within enterprise environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting critical IT systems across multiple data centres and customer sites, ensuring system availability, performance, and compliance with standards.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor, maintain, and support IT systems, including servers, networks, and enterprise applications, ensuring security and efficiency.

• Provide Level 1,2,3 support, troubleshooting incidents, and managing problem resolution in line with ITIL practices.

• Perform system deployments, configuration, upgrades, and change management activities with proper documentation.

• Support Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) operations in compliance with ICAO and EIDAS regulations.

• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and disaster recovery/failover procedures.

Key Requirements:

• Higher-level education in IT or equivalent experience (minimum 2 years in systems administration or application/infrastructure support).

• Hands-on experience with Windows Servers, VMware, networking, databases, or enterprise applications.

• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and customer-facing skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and incident management tools.

• Legally eligible to work in the EU and available for occasional travel (up to 30%).
