We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sportsbook Risk Analyst to help manage and optimize the daily operations of our risk team. This role blends analytics, operational oversight, product awareness, and day-to-day
coordination of the sportsbook operations. If you enjoy working with data, understanding how sportsbook products function, and helping shape performance across providers, this position is a great fit.

What You'll Do:

• Compare odds, market availability, and provider behaviour to spot gaps, risks, or opportunities.
• Analyse betting activity and provider output to determine when adjustments, investigations, or escalations are needed.
• Communicate with external provider to resolve issues such as pricing delays, incorrect markets, settlement questions, or risk concerns.
• Stay updated on sports news, lineup changes, injuries, and market movement to understand provider reactions and keep ibet competitive.
• Produce clear, actionable reports for the Sportsbook Manager covering provider performance, exposure, customer behaviour, and insights.
• Adjust odds, limits, or configurations when provider settings require manual oversight or optimization.
• Suggest improvements to provider setups, monitoring tools, and internal risk processes.
• Identify suspicious betting patterns, arbitrage opportunities, or irregular activity across providers and escalate when appropriate.
• Monitor sportsbook product tickets, ensuring issues are tracked, followed up on, and resolved efficiently.
• Stay informed about new product developments, updates from providers, or internal platform changes that may impact markets, risk settings, or customer experience.
• Provide product-related feedback on market setup, usability, technical issues, and overall customer experience.

Your Experience:

Must-Haves:

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to spot patterns and inconsistencies.
• Solid understanding of sports and how betting markets work.
• Excellent Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
• Ability to make fast, smart decisions in real time.
• High attention to detail and comfort working with large data sets.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and major sporting events.
• Some product knowledge, especially around sportsbook platforms, provider integrations, and customer experience impact.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Previous experience in sportsbook risk, analytics, or a similar role.
• Python knowledge—not required, but a big advantage.
• Experience using sportsbook platforms, odds feeds, or risk tools.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to explain insights simply.
