A well-renowned privately owned financial services group, specializing in investments, payment and fund administration globally, is searching for a goal-oriented Finance Regulatory Reporting Officer to join their HQ in Malta.

Their multi-award-winning finance platform provides their clients with cutting-edge technology coupled with a bespoke service.

The right person for this role will be an astute communicator, priding themselves on their professional attitude and attire at all times.

Starting salary offered up to €40K

Role & Responsibilities

  • Keep abreast with changes with relevant multi-jurisdictional regulations and implement necessary changes within the company
  • Create and maintain clear procedures to ensure financial reports are accurate and compliant
  • Be the expert – offer advice and support to internal stakeholders
  • Timely submission of financial reports to regulatory authorities
  • Mentor junior members of staff by offering clear advice and explanations on reporting rules
  • Communicate directly with regulators and external auditors during reviews or inspections

Required Education, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent thereof, in finance, accounting or other relevant field
  • Experience of working with Maltese and international regulatory bodies (MFSA, FIAU)
  • Well-versed in MS Office, in particular MS Excel
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in English (C2 level)
  • Previous experience of working with regulatory compliance and reporting
  • Strong team player with the ability to work largely unsupervised
  • Solution focussed and goal-oriented
