The role:

If you're passionate about backend development and want to work on scalable applications, we want to hear from you Join our team and work with a cutting-edge teck stack to build high-performance backend systems We're looking for a Backend Developer with expertise in Java 17+, Spring, SQL, Docker, and Kubernetes to develop and maintain backend logic and APIs for our gaming platform. You'll work with event-driven architecture (Kafka) and reactive programming (Spring WebFlux),on technical discussions, and ensure high-quality code in a production environment.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop and maintain backend logic and server APIs used by frontend application
  • Work with cool tech stack: event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka and reactive
    programming (Spring WebFlux)
  • Build reusable code and common libraries
  • Collaborate with the backend team to improve the quality
  • Participate and provide input during technical discussions

Experience required:

  • Experience with Java 17+, Spring, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Previous experience in working with databases
  • Good knowledge about deployment procedures
  • Knowledge about web application security (OWASP, OAuth2)
  • Understanding of how technologies work together on a larger scale
  • Previous experience in working with production environment with real customers
  • Ability to implement a task with detailed specification independently and ability to suggest task implementation solutions
  • Good debugging skills
  • Fluent written and spoken English

Would be nice to have:

  • Experience on integrations with 3rd party providers like payment-providers, game providers
  • Experience on integrations with AWS/GCP services
