On behalf of our iGaming Client, established sport betting and gaming publisher, we are looking for a highly motivated and analytical Risk and Fraud Executive to join the team. You can be based in Malta, Nantes, Paris offices or working remote from Portugal.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for identifying, investigating, and preventing fraudulent activities, with a particular focus on bonus abuse, affiliation fraud, multiple accounts, and the meticulous monitoring of financial transactions. You will play a vital role in safeguarding company assets, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining the trust of our players. A thorough understanding of departments such as CRM, trading, and affiliation is crucial, as regular collaboration with these areas will be a key part of the role.

Tasks

Casino Analytics:

  • Analyze players' gaming behavior, including game style, bet frequency, and bet sizes.
  • Implement limits and restrictions as required.

Sportsbook Analytics:

  • Perform ongoing analysis of client game styles, financial and other indicators.
  • Verify the accuracy of game result probabilities.
  • Ensure a timely response to game events, including feed. stream, and events.

KYC (Know Your Customer) Responsibilities:

  • Set up and follow-up the market specific player ID verification processes.
  • Manage multi-accounts based on various criteria.
  • Manage limits, restrictions, and specific requests

Cross department Responsibilities:

  • Review and monitor requests from other department (Trading / CRM /Affiliate / etc…).
  • Be able to understand player segmentation and be capable of adapting it according to activity
  • Collaborate with local team all over the world
Requirements

You have knowledge about:

  • Game-Specific Fraud (e.g., "Crash" game abuses)
  • Bonus Abuser Identification & Mitigation
  • Affiliation Fraud Investigation
  • Flow of Funds Monitoring & AML Compliance
  • Reporting & Analysis

Profile requirements:

  • Proven and solid experience in risk management and fraud prevention in the iGaming industry.
  • Knowledge of iGaming regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, risk modeling, and fraud detection techniques specific to online gaming.
  • A deep understanding of the diverse online products (games, bet types, promotions) available in the online market.
  • Excellent English (strong plus if you speak French or Portuguese)
  • Excellent communication, autonomy, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
