A boutique professional services firm specializing in accountancy and audits, based in Naxxar, is currently seeking an Accountant to join their team.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional looking to gain experience across a variety of clients and industries while developing their accounting skills.

Salary: Up to €35K benefits

Role and Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients across various industries
  • Assist in preparing financial statements and accounting reports
  • Record journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger accounts
  • Perform bank reconciliations and verify the accuracy of financial data
  • Support senior staff during audits and tax preparations
  • Maintain organized documentation and proper filing of accounting records

Education, Skills, and Experience

  • ACCA qualified or currently pursuing
  • 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Strong knowledge of Maltese VAT and Income Tax regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
