Internal Accountant

We are looking for a candidate with experience & knowledge in accounts, who will be part of a team responsible for the accounting of river cruise vessels' operations. The accountant is responsible for managing a team of clerks and executives alongside another accountant and the accounts manager and will assist the accounts manager in month end tasks.RESPONSIBILITIES -Reviewing of weekly payment run-Reviewing of bank reconciliations-Reviewing of sales invoices-Reviewing of payroll journals and upload files-Monthly balance sheet reconciliations-Reviewing month end inventory and processing in accounting system-Preparing depreciation, accruals, and prepayments journals-Communicating with Hotel Managers and Front Office Managers on board the vessels-Communicating with peers in overseas purchasing and HR departments-Liaising with auditors during year end audit-Managing a team, assisting the team with queries and making sure they meet their deadlines-Other reporting/reconciliations which may be needed to be able to provide accurate figuresREQUIREMENTS-Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar post (experience in hospitality is considered an asset)-Qualifications in accounting is considered as asset-Willing to travel once or twice per year-Knowledge of MS Office software - especially Excel-Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills-Ability to communicate and work well with colleagues, both in the office and abroad-Ability to effectively and efficiently manage a team-Organized, and is able to prioritize workload and delegate tasks-Ability to work well under pressure and within set timeframes-Attention to detail and problem-solving skillsEmployment Type: Full-TimeSalary: $ €37,000.00 Per Year
